Requesting Materials from Skyline Library

This guide is for students who need technology, books and other items from Skyline Library. It explains how to request, pick up and return materials.

What You Can Request

Students, faculty and staff can request: Covers of anti-racist books

  • Books
  • Selected Course Reserves
  • Graphic Novels
  • Oversize books
  • ESOL Readers
  • DVDs
  • Headphones
  • Chargers and adapters

from Skyline Library.  Items may be requested from or delivered to Cañada or College of San Mateo also. 


Need a Chromebook, Hotspot or Calculator?

Please contact the library for more details. Technology is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment, no reservations are required. Visit the Library during open hours.

How to Make a Request

Instructions for Requesting Skyline Library Items:

  1. Search for your item in OneSearch using the box on this page or from the library's home page.
  2. Sign into your account using your OneLogin credentials.
  3. Browse the search results and locate the item you would like to place a hold on. Click on the title of the item to see more detail.
  4. Under "Get It" click "Request for pickup."
  5. Click "Send Request."
  6. You will see a confirmation box when your request has been placed. You will receive an email when your request is ready for pick up.
