Requesting Materials from Skyline Library

This guide is for students who need technology, books and other items from Skyline Library. It explains how to request, pick up and return materials.

How to Return Library and Technology Items

Skyline Library and Skyline technology items checked out from the Skyline campus can be returned to any SMCCD campus. Please check each campus library for their hours of operation. Please note:  the book drop is NOT open.  Do not leave materials outside the library.  If they are lost or stolen, you will be responsible for the replacement charges. 

How to Return Bookstore Items

Skyline bookstore items must be returned to the Skyline campus; all bookstore items must be returned to the college where they were originally checked out.

Important Safety Information

Please comply with the following rules when coming to campus to protect your health and safety, and that of others: 

  • Vaccinations are required

    • The Board of Trustees has adopted a policy (BP 2.90) that requires COVID-19 vaccines for all employees and students working and studying on site.
  • Face coverings

    The Board of Trustees modified the District’s face masking requirement, utilizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID Community Level coding system. The updated masking requirements, as outlined below, are effective until further notice, and apply to all students, employees, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.

*At levels where masking is required, the exemption of not wearing a mask while actively eating or drinking still applies.
