How to Download Video Clips from YouTube or CSPAN

This one is faster and easier but doesn't work for C-SPAN clips

  1. Paste the URL of the video into the box at the top and click the Download button
  2. Select  » Download MP4 « - (Max 480p) which is the first link in the list
  3. Name the file and save it to the Downloads folder
  4. Upload to Google Drive or WeVideo project media

This one lets you select specific part to download
  1. Paste URL of the video into the top box
  2. Select MP4 from Conversion Format choices
  3. Uncheck Start of Video and End of Video
  4. Enter your preferred start and end times
  5. Click Continue (next to URL box)
  6. Click Start at the bottom
  7. Wait for conversion
  8. Click Download
  9. Name file and save to Downloads folder
  10. Upload to Google Drive or WeVideo project media
