After you've searched on your own, you'll want to contact a Skyline College reference librarian for additional academic sources. You have options! On the left side of this screen: 

1. Use the Chat with a Librarian Now button during the Library's Open Hours. (You can do this as many times as you need). 

2. Schedule an appointment with a Librarian - below my picture, click Schedule Appointment. After you do, I'll send you a zoom link for us to meet on the date/time you've chosen.

3. If you just have a couple questions, feel free to email me from my profile box - also on the left. I'll respond Tuesday through Saturday. If I receive a lot of messages, I may forward yours to one of my library colleagues to answer.

A Reference librarian can help you:

• Determine which database is most likely to lead you to articles or materials on your topic
• Help you determine if an article or journal is scholarly
• Develop an effective search strategy for your research paper
• Choose search terms for database and library catalog searching
• Find citations from books and articles to locate additional materials
