Statistical information such as rates, percentages and other quantitative data can be found within library article databases, government reports and publications, reports of "think tanks" and policy/research groups as well as google. Here's a useful research guide from Princeton University: Education Data and Statistics.

To find statistics kept by our government (local, state, federal), add the term: site:.gov to your search. For example:

The Statistical Abstract of the United States: This website compiles data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, and many other Federal agencies and private organizations from 1878-2012.

Canada College students have access to Statista database (Log in as you would to Canvas).
