STEM is for ALL: A Week-Long Celebration of Discovery and Inclusivity

We are thrilled to invite you to STEM is for ALL, a week dedicated to celebrating the inclusivity, discovery, and everyday relevance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This inspiring series of events will culminate in the celebration of National Science Day on Friday, February 28.


Event Highlights

Diverse Voices in STEM

Date: Tuesday, February 25, 3:00–4:00 PM
Hear from a panel of diverse Skyline College STEM faculty as they share their experiences, insights, and advice. Join us to be inspired by trailblazing voices in the field!


Science in Everyday Life: Beyond the Lab!

Date: Wednesday, February 26, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
Drop by to explore interactive booths hosted by STEM faculty and students. From cooking experiments to the science behind mixing colours, discover how STEM connects to the world around you in unexpected ways!


Film Screening: A Million Miles Away

Date: Friday, February 28, 2:00–4:00 PM
Join us for an inspiring screening of the 2023 biographical drama about José M. Hernández, a Mexican-American astronaut who achieved his dream against all odds.
