De-Stress Week Events

Dear Skyline College Community,

Have you ever felt more stressed with meeting deadlines, cramming as you approach finals, and just feeling overwhelmed as classes and campus wind down at the end of the Spring semester? Did you know that these actions add to unnecessary anxiety, keeping you from retaining information or accomplishing your goals in a timely manner? Taking breaks to relax and refresh one's mind is beneficial in retaining what was studied. Come take a break with the Learning Commons (Library and the Learning Center) and Active Minds in de-stressing events starting Tuesday. April 23rd. On Monday, April 29th, participate in the "Therapeutic Splatter" in the Quad at 11:00 a.m. and later meet Indigo the Therapy Peacock in the Library at 1:00 p.m. Don't forget to relax and have fun with the rest of the events until May 2nd!  All members of our campus community are invited!

Please contact Counselor Perry Chen at or Librarian Pia Walawalkar at if you have further questions.
