The Skyline College Library features a book collection of 50,000 volumes and subscriptions to hundreds of magazines, journals, and newspapers.
If you are a current Skyline College (or SMCCD) student, faculty, or staff, you automatically have a free college library account that can be used to borrow materials and access collections at the college libraries. You don't need a physical card beyond your College ID and/or your G number.
Your Library Account provides access to:
Circulating collection - books found on rows of shelves on the right hand side as you enter the library
Reserves - books located in the front desk or check-out desk area set aside for your class
Reference - books such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals etc. in the reference section behind the reference desk
Journals, Magazines & Newspapers - a list of print and electronic journals, magazines, and newspapers can be found here.
Library provides access to hundreds of electronic books, journals, magazines, newspaper articles, streaming videos and other resources. To access these resources off-campus you'll need to use your email or Canvas login.
