If you are a current Skyline College (or SMCCD) student, faculty, or staff, you automatically have a free college library account that can be used to borrow materials and access collections at the college libraries. You don't need a physical card beyond your College ID and/or your G number.

Library Databases - Our Library subscribes to many databases, both general and subject-specific. To log into our databases off-campus you'll need to use your email or Canvas login.
If you are NOT a current Skyline College (or SMCCD) student, faculty, or staff, you're still eligible for a San Mateo Community College District Library account. For more information and to register, visit SMCCD OneSearch Guide.
Some libraries in the Peninsula Library System (PLS), public libraries in San Mateo County, are reopening for curbside service.
Online resources from the public library, including eBooks & databases, are still available if you have a current public library card with PLS.
Contact your local library for more information.
We encourage everyone to take full advantage of the resources and benefits offered at PLS Libraries by signing up for a PLS library card.
As of January 1, 2020, SMCCD Libraries and the Public Libraries in the Peninsula Library Systems have two different, separate library search systems (library catalogs).
We continue to partner on programs and share resources, but as a result of the new systems, users have different library accounts.
