MLA Citation Style 9th Edition: Advertisement


Citation description:

Title of the advertisement or a description (name of the product or company being advertised).  The source in which the advertisement appears, the date of the issue, the page number where the advertisement was found.

Citation examples:
Truth by Calvin Klein. Vogue, Dec. 2000, pp. 95-98. 

If the advertisement is online, provide the URL.

For example:

What the Constitution Means to Me. The New York Times, 16 May 2018,


If the advertisement is a pop-up ad, add this information at the end of the citation.
